Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 15th, 2017 at Everglade Park, 10 a.m. sharp! Find candy-filled eggs placed there by the Easter Bunny.

Spring Fling
Saturday, April 29th, 2017 from 7-11 p.m. at the Vintage Brewing Company on Whitney Way. This is a free social event featuring appetizers, drinks and conversation for Parkwood Hills residents -- adults only.

Annual Board Meeting
Tuesday, April 4th, 6:30 p.m. at John Muir Elementary. Principal Andrea Kreft will be the featured speaker. New Board Officers to be elected.

Neighborhood Garage Sale
Saturday, May 6th. De-clutter your house or garage by being part of this neighborhood-wide garage sale. Register for free to be included on the maps that will be handed out. Email your name, address, and a brief description of the items you are selling to lucasjwagner@gmail.com no later than Friday, April 28th.

Neighborhood Pool Party
New dateTBD. Members and non-members are invited to the Parkcrest Pool -- enjoy some lunch courtesy of the Parkwood Hills Community Association. Pool memberships available.

Independence Day Parade
Tuesday, July 4th, John Muir School parking lot. Bike decorating starts at 9 a.m., and the parade kicks off at 9:30. Following the parade, come to John Muir for games, food and fun. Remember to bring your helmets!

Halloween Bonfire
Thursday, Oct. 26th, 2017. The annual Halloween event - bonfire and open mic for spooky storytelling and jokes - is at Everglade Park. The fire is lit at 6:30 p.m. and the stage is open from 7-8 p.m.

Special Visitor
During the second and third weeks of December, Neighborhood homes have experienced personalized visits from a jolly old man in a red suit. Watch the parkword newsletter for more information.

Ice Skating and Sledding Party
The annual event is obviously weather-dependent but typically occurs between mid-January and mid-February at Garner Park - just off of Mineral Point Road, near CUNA. Hot Chocolate and treats are provided.
